About LovaCook

LovaCook is an independent recipe publication by LovaByte. We publish practical recipes for everyday home cooking — breakfasts, weeknight dinners, desserts, and quick meals — written in plain language and organised around ingredients you can find at a normal supermarket.

The site is maintained by the LovaCook Editorial Team. Our focus is on editorial clarity: making sure ingredient lists match the instructions, quantities and cooking times read consistently, and each recipe is genuinely usable in a home kitchen. When we describe a recipe, we aim to describe what the finished dish actually is — not to oversell it.

Our editorial approach

Each recipe on LovaCook is edited for clarity, ingredient consistency, realistic preparation and cooking times, and helpful cooking guidance. Where a recipe uses a specific technique, brand, or piece of equipment, we try to explain why it matters. Where we're uncertain about a detail, we say so.

Our full workflow — how recipes are prepared, edited, and updated — is described on the Recipe Content Methodology page. Our broader standards are on the Editorial Policy page.

Photography and image sourcing

Photography on LovaCook may be original, licensed from stock photography providers, or sourced from third-party providers with attribution. Where an image does not accurately represent the finished dish, we remove it and mark the recipe as needing a proper photograph rather than showing something misleading. Sources and attributions are listed on the Photo Credits page.

Corrections and feedback

If you spot an error in a recipe — a missing ingredient, an unclear step, an incorrect time — please tell us. We take corrections seriously and update pages when readers report real issues. See our Corrections Policy for how we handle updates, or reach us through the Contact page.
